To be honest, web hosting companies located in India usually come with these 3 issues:
- Expensive at the price (compared to US based companies)
- Poor customer support
- Low uptime
Let me ask you, who's your target audience? If your site is targeting local visitors, then you have no choice but to host your site with a web hosting company in India because hosting your site out of India may somewhat decrease your website response to your Indian visitors.
However, if you're targeting the globe, then a US based web hosting company would be your best option.

Also, since you say you need to run an entertainment site, I suppose you'll be uploading lots of videos and audios.
